The look of this alteration really intrigues my creativity. Is each wedge a different color? Is it then resewn at top and bottom or are those openings left as open but finished edges and then sewn with the edges of the shoulder seam and the waist seam butted together to meet the opposing shoulder seam and the waist of the remainder of the garment? Do you have a picture possibly of the finished project? It just looks like it would be such a FUN top to wear--especially during our season of Mardi Gras (or as I believe you know it better as Carnival).<br /> Thank you for showing things like this. I may feel I'm the wrong size to wear fun and fashionable things you sew, but I always love to see what is being designed by other designers. And Burda patterns in the U.S. are NOT the same as Burda patterns in Europe (as I've sewn from some from Germany before). Thank you for all you share with us.
